Hidden Springs Boise Idaho
This week has been absolutely beautiful in Hidden Springs. The weather has been 65 degrees, and the fall leaves in full color! I have to pinch myself some days that I can walk out my front door and be instantly be surrounded by beauty, fresh air, and solitude when I need it. In my humble opinion, Hidden Springs in Boise Idaho is one of the best neighborhoods for walking. Traffic is minimal, and there are innumerable routes to be taken either within the neighborhood (on nice, level, crack free sidewalks), or through the nature trails that run along the creek, or that wind through the foothills.
Last week I took three different routes through the neighborhood; below are snapshots from my gallery of photos.
Left: Photo taken on trail on South side of the creek behind South Meadow phase.
Right: School Ridge was absolutely stunning this year!
Left: View from Schick's Ridge Trail. This trail winds down the common areas of the foothill down to Humphreys Drive (photo on the right).
Left: Behind the Hidden Springs barn, the corn is ready for the maze!
Right: On Hidden Springs Drive, this is natural riparian area that is part of the conservation land (and is a natural bird habitat)
